Beat the Wrinkles in Your Face: Engage in Facial Exercises
Fighting skin aging is one of the most common dilemmas that people, most especially women discuss. One way of lessening the lines on your face is doing facial exercises. These exercises can yield great results when executed properly and regularly.
Before starting your exercise, make sure that your face is MOISTURIZED. You can do this by washing or splashing your face with water, applying moisturizer, face lubricant or facial oil. Always remember to never start the exercise with a dry skin.
There are five main regions in the face that we will focus on namely the eye area, chin, neck, scalp and mouth. Exercising these regions will be able to help you eliminate and say good-bye to those wrinkles!
Eye Area
The eyes can truly indicate signs of aging especially for those people who are always stressed or those who lack sleep. So here's how to improve the appearance of your eye area. %u2022 Position your fingers on your temples and pull that area slightly toward the back. %u2022 Close your eyes, fingers still pressed on your temples. %u2022 Repeat this process for approximately 20 times.
This exercise would really improve the feeling around the eye area and remove the saggy feeing. You can do two sets of this exercise everyday to obtain best results.
Muscles around the chin area
This exercise will eliminate the loose skin that is located at the front of your neck. First, pull your lower lip upward and stay in that position for about 5 seconds. If you look in front of a mirror, you'll see that your chin will look slightly protruded forward. After that, pull your chin down and feel the stretch feeling around that area. Make sure that your head is straight and stationary when doing this exercise. Do this for two sets with 20 repetitions.
Muscles around the scalp area
This exercise is a way to remove or lessen the lines on your forehead and give a lift on your face. First, raise your eyebrows for about 2 - 3 seconds. This will stretch the upper area of your face. Afterwhich, pull your ear muscles backwards and feel the contraction of the muscles at the back of your head. Do this for about five minutes a day and you'll see that your face will lighten up after some time.
Mouth Region
This exercise is done in order to obtain a fuller mouth. All you have to do is to place your index fingers inside your mouth and pull your mouth sideways from about a quarter to three eighths of an inch. Wash or clean your hands before doing this exercise. After extending your mouth, contract it until the fingers inside your mouth meet. Do this exercise for 25 to 50 times every day and you'll see the difference!
Neck Area
This exercise will help eliminate the loose skin at the front of your neck and make it look a lot more firm. Tilt your head back, making sure that your chin is positioned slightly upward. Place your tongue at the roof area of your mouth. Hold that position for about two to three seconds and slowly lower down your chin. Make sure that your tongue is still at the top of your mouth.
That's it! Those are just the simple ways to fight skin aging and get rid of wrinkles. Always remember to do these exercises carefully and properly and you'll be good in no time! Most importantly, always smile and stay happy!
